The hurlers from Allentown bested a cross-state team, 3-17 to 0-3

Her story so inspired the organizers of the Philadelphia Rose of Tralee pageant, she's the first-ever recipient of a brand new award honoring courageous Irish women.

Phllly's new Rose of Tralee will be chosen on Saturday night, Bristol's Celtic Day goes on for the 13th year, and there's a great benefit to raise money for multiple sclerosis research. Oh yeah, and the Celtic Fling and Highland Games bring a little of old Ireland (and Scotland) to Lancaster.

The County Cavan man is undergoing cancer treatment. The fundraiser will help him pay for his expenses.
