From the early morning on, Philadelphia’s Irish observed the day in a wide variety of ways, from benefit breakfasts to the annual Irish Memorial observance at Penn’s Landing.

It wasn’t bright, and no one could call it warm, but at least it was dry when the Montgomery County St. Patrick’s Day Parade trekked down Fayette Street.

They were standing at least six deep on the sidewalk in some places for this wonderful community St. Patrick’s Day Parade. We have loads of photos!
