A few months ago, irishphiladelphia.com joined The Irish Ad Network which produces those changing ads you see at the top of our pages. It represents some income for us to help pay the bills (but not enough so we can quit our day jobs). But it also offers potential advertisers in Southeastern Pennsylvania an opportunity to reach thousands of people with their message every day—far more than we can deliver on our own (at the moment, that is, though world domination is our goal). That’s because those ads appear on websites all over the place—though, as you can tell, mainly on the East Coast in Irish cities like Boston and New York.
Thanks to those ads, we know where to find some good Irish food, beer, and entertainment when we travel. And, if you decide to advertise with The Irish Ad Network, people in those cities—the ones who pour into Philly every year, all year long, to visit the city’s historic sites, do business, or, as they will in early 2009, attend the Irish dancing world championships—can find out about your great Irish food, beer, and entertainment. Oh, and so can the thousand or so local folks who visit our site every week.
Plus, you'll help make it possible for us to provide more of the great coverage of the region's Irish community you've come to expect.
If you’re interested, please send us a note via the “contact us” button, marking it “general feedback” and we will, as they say, hook you up.
